The common misconception of massage therapy is that the only benefits are relaxation. Therapeutic massage focuses on assessing and relieving pain and symptoms of conditions related to muscle and joints. Joint and muscle pain can be related to activities of daily living, work related, or sport-related. Assessments are used as a baseline to current condition, track progress and create goals in improving your health. Appropriate exercises and stretches are given to each client depending on their needs and are an integral part of your recovery. I believe in educating about health and that we have to find the underlying cause of your pain rather than treating the symptoms.
Personal Training
Finding a personal trainer is a great way to start your fitness journey or to get help if you're already involved in fitness. Personal training can offer insight into a different approach to your health and wellness. If you're looking to start working out but don't know where to start and may feel insecure, or need some assistance in improving your performance then I am the right person for you. A thorough client-centered consultation and optional assessment process is mandatory before starting a training program to allow us to get a better understanding of where your fitness/health levels are at and to appropriately tailor a training program to meet your goals.
